Four months ago, we renovated livestock facilities at the Cooperativa Avanzada de Troilo and purchased the coop’s first round of feeder pigs.  Yesterday, we weighed the pigs for the third time and are thrilled to report that the cooperative is on track to sell the animals at the end of April as planned.  Each pig has gained an average of 55 pounds since we bought them—an impressive weight increase of more than 182%!   Within just two years, these dedicated producers will be the proud collective owners of a fully functional production facility.  Congrats to these coop members on their hard work.
