Crometal is a recovered cooperative engaged in production of industrial shelving and scaffolding. Since we started working with them in 2005 their production has increased sharply, the number of workers has doubled and their competitiveness has improved as well. When our relationship began there were 18 workers. Currently there are 35.
With the 28 loans the cooperative and La Base have formed a close relationship with a lot of trust. Crometal has grown enormously and the type of challenges they have been facing has changed according to the scale. |
Currently the cooperative has some difficulties caused by the crisis that has hit the producers of durable goods who are more demanded in times of economic expansion.
Particularly the orders have become more irregular and the payment periods stretched. It should be noted that over the last loans we see a tendency to stabilize the demand at a relatively high point comparing to the start of the year. However the cooperative is still suffering the consequences of the slowdown in october. That is why they have requested a check cashing.
